Before the sun comes up on Saturday
morning, our team will depart for Haiti. Our mission for the month of
August takes our team to the heart of Port Au Prince. We will be
working and staying at an orphanage called His Home For the Children.
125 boys and girls live there, ranging in age from birth to thirteen
years old. Our specific ministry there will include teaching and
playing with the children, construction, and evangelism.
I have a few specific prayer requests
as of now…
Pray for our team to be unified as we
make the transition from living with 46 people to just living with
our team of 6.
Pray for the hearts and the minds of
the people in Port Au Prince to be prepared for the work that we will
do there.
Pray for the team that will enter
Guachupita (our ministry site in the Dominican Republic) during the
month of August.
