Welcome to another episode of Alicia's Life in Cambodia!
Quick update for everyone… the girls we are living with are doing very well. Many of them got to go visit home this weekend or this week. It's great knowing that they do get to see their family on occasion. The prayer box we made is ALWAYS full and the prayers are precious.
Our team is doing very well; many opportunites for healthy conflict have arisen and we are growing very close as a team. Please pray for our unity, for us to be "un-offendable", and for us to be open with each other. On another note, Julie and I took a tumble off of our top bunk, but we're not clumsy… there was a rat in our bed. Whole other story… 😉
(If anyone has been wondering what a "tok tok" is, that's it!)
Spiritually, I have been reading through the Gospels, mostly Luke. I am trying to understand how Jesus looks at people and instantly "[has] compassion on [them]" or "loved [them]". I want to love everyone like that, just because they are my brother or sister in Christ and because they are a fellow human.
I love everyone a ton! Have a beautiful day. 🙂
