Well friends, I am officially O-U-T of Muskegon and in Carrollton, Kentucky!
Just to give you a quick update, I am staying here until Friday morning (the fourteenth). Then, I will fly to Seattle, Washington to stay overnight and meet up with my team, and early Saturday morning we are heading out to Cambodia! Woohoo!
This week, amidst getting to meet some great new people and unpacking and repacking my HUGE backpack, I am spending some pretty intense time with God (Andrea and I are going through the same devotional!) and getting prepared for what lies ahead. I am focusing on dying to myself, especially since I am already uncomfortable in not having control over where I go, what I eat, etc. This will be an interesting five months… 😉
