Hola, amigos!

I made it to Seattle!  Andrea and I left Carrollton early(ish) this morning; she drove me to Louisville and dropped me off looking like this…

…way to go, Andrea.  πŸ˜‰

From there, I flew into Houston (the last time I was there was for Guatemala two years ago… very nostalgic) then to Seattle.  I've got to say that Seattle is a BEAUTIFUL place to fly into… this was my view flying in:

If you can't tell, these aren't "my" pictures but they show exactly what it looked like when we flew over Washington into Seattle… gorgeous!  Also, I should throw in that it is raining and fifty degrees!  Take that, Michiganders!  πŸ™‚

Anyway, I am now sitting in our hotel room eating pizza and enjoying the presence of my awesome teammates… here they are: myself, Lauren, Nani, Jenna, Julie, and Kristen.

As for tomorrow, hello eleven hour flight to Seoul, South Korea and then however long to Cambodia… dun dun dun.

This'll be my last update in the States for a while, but I am working on a couple of neat blogs.  Of all places, I really felt God's presence today in the Houston airport while I was reading a sweet book.  I plan on sharing it with everyone in due time, but for a fun little heads up, He was showing me some things about faith and focusing on Him in the best times and the most challenging times.  Basically, I know there are some new territories ahead, but I am looking forward to the opportunity to be developed in my faith and walk with God.  Bring it on, baby!  πŸ™‚

I love you all tons!  Thank you for the prayers and encouragement – you all are the best.  Looking forward to sharing in this journey with you.  πŸ™‚
