Occasionally I get asked why sex trafficking appeals to me.  It doesn't; I hate it.  In fact, if I felt that my life was my own, I would GLADLY sit back and get on with my life.  However, since Jesus said a few words that couldn't have been conveniently left out of the Bible (particularly Luke 17:33 and Mark 8:34-36), here I am, seventeen days from leaving my home and everyone that I love to go on a crazy trip to see dark, messed up things that I don't want to see.  I am going in the hopes of eradicating some of it.  I am going so that I can learn about what really goes on in our world – I don't want to be ignorant.  But mostly, I am going so that I can be like Jesus, because He is the one I love and long for and owe my life.   

I don't need more of a reason than that.
