Ok Lord… $3,500 funded by THIS Sat July 14th…. HERE WE GO!
SO i have taken this big leap to do a crazy thing called the World Race. As some of you know, I will be spending the next year traveling, volunteering, and only God knows what any of this really means…
I have made this decision while praying over and trusting this verse to be true…

This year has been all about STEPS
I took the STEP to move quit my great jobs in Fort Collins, CO and move to Denver to find more opportunity
I took the STEP to go back to school after 6 years
I took the STEP to move in to a house full of strangers (which has been the biggest blessing… I can't describe!)
I have spent much of this past year doing career counseling, taking personality tests and career asessments… going to classes, studying for tests- continuing down a path to add to my massage career a degree …. in … ________________.??? Oh yeah, that's the problem! I wish to continue working hard towards a degree in…. what?? As many of you know I love people! I spent time in both Costa Rica and Haiti last year, and what treasured time it was~!! I came back to Colorado and thought… Man, I wish to be of more benefit, more help to these people I encounter… but how?? I have been encouraged to find a "trade". Well most of you know I already have one- and a great one at that! I have been a practicing Massage Therapist for over 6 years now!! WOW time sure does fly! I have always wanted to do massage part time and ____ (something else) with that. A few years ago I realized my heart for missions and ministry. I love meeting people and stepping in to their world. I love offering myself and any resources I may have… but i mainly like just walking throught life with them- being there to encourage them along the way. For a few years now I have been trying to figure out which ministry to get really invested in. As of recently, I have more been focused on WHAT WILL I DO when i GET THERE? MY career counselors have told me after a year of continued classes– "you need to get out of your head!" You have all the facts, the percentages… you've done personality career fit tests, and researched job fields… you have more than all the information you need – now you need to go and just be. Go and experience. I think that will really help you." – ACC career advisor
I have wanted to do something like this for 5 years now. I have wanted to travel to different countries helping people, exploring potential future homes… and just loving on people. People often ask me- well which country do you really want to live in someday?? I say .. i dont know… uhhh… all of them??
Next they say, ok- well what do you want to do when you get there?? I say whatever I can that helps!
Now it's time for me to find out!
SOOO here I go! I AM walking forward taking each step as it comes!
– I am working to raise ~20,000 ($15,500 world race travel, food, lodging etc… + supplies, gear, travel insurance, and minimal bills in the states while away) I need to be funded to $3,500 by this SAT July 14th
– and will leaving in september (on a team of 7 with THE WORLD RACE (interdenominational Christian Nonprofit)
– to spend a month volunteering with local nonprofits in :
