It here… Training Camp starts tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow morning I will meet up with a group of girls, go to breakfast, and then we will make our way down to Copperhill, TN to meet the rest of our squad and the other squads leaving in January.

I know that God is going to be doing some incredible things at training camp, but right now, I want to share with you all that God has been doing in the last few months!

I have now received over half my funds for The World Race. This means that I am officially leaving in January!

It has been amazing to see God move in people's hearts and encourage them to donate to the World Race. Here are some of the ways God has been moving in my funding raising and preparation process!

  • A few weeks ago, I had a 2 day yard sale at my house in GA; I raised $1600. In the first 5 hours, I made $700. In case you don't ever do yard sales, this is a very large amount to make. To top it all off, I was the only one collecting money, and I don't think there is any way that I could have collected that much money. I honestly believe that God was multiplying money in my pouch, just like the fish and the loaves.

  • I am currently working at a restaurant. When I am serving people, I often get the chance to tell them about the World Race. The other day, after telling a couple about this upcoming journey, they gave me a 50% tip.

  • While we were setting up for the yard sale, one of our neighbors, that I had never met before, stopped by the house to get something from my parents. While my mom was inside, we started talking about the yard sale and the World Race. After my mom came back she left. Less than 30 minutes later, she returned with a $100 check.

  • I went to a meeting for my sorority to sell them bracelets and t-shirts to raise money for the race. I ended up leaving with about $600. It was such an incredible blessing to receive that amount of money from a group of about 30 college students.

  • During my yard sale, an alumni racer from my area came to meet me. We ended up going to dinner later that week and I was able to get a lot of wisdom and just hear about her experience on the Race.

These are just a few of the ways God has been moving in the last few months. Not only is He providing for me financially, but He is helping me get prepared for the World Race in several different ways. I can't wait to see all the ways He is about to work at training camp to get me prepared even further for the World Race.

Thank you so much to everyone that has donated! I wouldn't be able to go on the World Race without you! Please pray for me, my squad, and the other 4 squads that are going to be at training camp this week!

I still need to raise over $8000. If you would like to donate, you can click on the Support Me! link on the left side of the screen!

God Bless!
