To World Racers going into Madagascar,

Be prepared.

Be prepared to be attacked by the enemy in every way possible.

Be prepared to experience spiritual warfare like you never have before.

Be prepared to have your discernment put to the test.

Be prepared to be surrounded by darkness left and right.

Be prepared to constantly feel the spiritual heaviness.

Be prepared to have your prayer life change.

Your health may be attacked in efforts to sway you away from ministry. In fact, over half of your squad may be down because of sickness.

Your dreams may be corrupted with nightmares of physical attacks and sometimes those nightmares may even happen a few days later.

Be prepared to have reality checks even if you don’t want to.

Be prepared to have all your senses stretched, yes all five.

Be prepared by already knowing how to put on the armor of God every morning, and be prepared to have to do it every single morning.

Be prepared see some of the most amazing, breath taking sunsets and rises you will ever see.

Be prepared to see the dire need of Jesus.

Be prepared.

I warn you future racer. I don’t want to scare you, but if you have understood spiritual warfare before, then this is the country where you may understand the most about it.

Listen, every day is a battle. We are soldiers, warriors for the Lord. The question is: are you ready to battle? Are you willing to fight? Are you willing to suffer and endure for the Lord?

Because the moment you step into that country, game on. Will you stand firm and rely on the Lord through every single moment? Will you recognize the attacks?

I warn you because it would have been nice to know so I wouldn’t have been so surprised. I wish my prayer life was stronger before entering into Madagascar.

But listen, future racer, I warn you. Despite all of this, you may actually fall so deep in love with this country. I’m a testament to that.
