Important Announcement!
Hey everyone! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I last posted a blog. Anyways, my surgery went well and I’m recovering nicely still. It’s slow going, but I’m doing great! I had been waiting for things to be made official before I could make my announcement. It’s been made official now so I can announce that I won’t be continuing my journey on the World Race.
It’s been an incredible journey, but due to my family’s situation at home, with my dad’s poor health and some financial setbacks, I’ve decided to stay. The World Race has been an amazing journey of delving deeper into who God is, who I am in Him, and learning how to love people. I got to meet a whole group of incredible people (H squad rocks!) feel like family. With them I got to experience living in a Christian community, living life wholly focused on loving Jesus and each other. It was beautiful, strenuous, uncomfortable, amazing, and grew me in ways I never knew I could grow. I got to travel and see more of the amazing world God created. I got to meet people and love people I never dreamed about. It was amazing. Sorry for saying amazing so much, but God’s amazing and doing life with Him is… amazing!
I’m sad to not go back, but I’m where I need to be right now and God’s going to use me here in California in incredible ways. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support for my journey!
