In TWO DAYS I leave for training camp in Atlanta, GA! More specifically, I am heading to Gainesville, where the Adventures in Missions(AIM) Headquarters lie 🙂 I will be spending a week meeting my fellow teammates and future family, becoming equipped for next year’s ministry, growing closer to God, and camping out in my new tent! AIM keeps the agenda that lies within training camp pretty top secret, so I am heading off for a week of unknown adventure, which is VERY good practice for my time in the field as well. I ran to Target a couple days ago to buy baby wipes. I am told these are for “showering”. Therefore, if you see my Saturday July 26th in the Atlanta, avoid hugs at ALL COSTS.
I have been looking forward to this coming weekend for months now, day dreaming of hugging my team mates for the first time & getting a better idea of the ministry I will be a part of in the next year. Please pray for mine and my teammates hearts as we head into a week thats sure to be adventurous, fun, exhausting, humbling, and memorable.
I received word this week that I am 79% FUNDED with $9,925 in my support account. WOW. This means about $2,500 away from my August 22nd goal. I cannot believe it. I am ever grateful for the support and love thats been poured out upon me these past 4 months. Prayers that the funds would continue to flow in by God’s grace. I love you all dearly & cannot WAIT to update you with stories and pictures of training camp in a week or so!
