Let me tell y’all about how freaking cool the Holy Spirit is! Earlier this week we had an afternoon of evangelism in Llanos, when we first began my teammate Camielle saw one of our English students, Anhel. We asked to come in and pray with his family, he said they weren’t home but that his grandfather needed prayer because he was sick. So we walked with him to his grandfathers house a few houses down and he brought us inside. His grandparents, his four aunts and all of his cousins were there as well. They brought us into a large room with two beds and some stools to sit on, and we began to pray for the grandfather. He told us that he has problems with his hand, his pancreas and vomitting, and that he had been in the hospital a lot in the last couple months because of it. He said the Lord had started healing him and that he was feeling better, but that his hand was still bothering him so we prayed for continual healing and for God to take away the pain in his hand.
After that one of his daughters, in her late 30’s probably, asked us to pray for her because her legs hurt and she has a hard time walking. So Kelsey, a team member here at Adventures Guatemala and our translator for the day, asked her to sit down and hold her legs out, when she did that we realized that her right leg was a little longer than her left. We prayed for healing and balance and saw it even out a little, and then God REALLY started showing off!
*Back Story; when I was 15 and my scoliosis was at its worse, it caused my hip to fall, making my right leg longer than my left and the pain was so bad that I could barely walk for about 3 months.*
Kelsey got a vision of the women laying on one of the beds and us praying for her back, and when she said that, my back started hurting like it does when my scoliosis flares up. And then God said to me, “That’s how she feels, she has scoliosis.” I looked at my team and tell them what God just told me, completely in awe. They asked me to pray over her back so I laid hands along her spine and prayed for God to come in and align her and reveal that He is doing this through His Spirit, we began to feel her back heat up…Now before this, she could barely walk and when she did, it was really painful BUT God is working big in Llanos already and after we prayed this prayer she hesitantly got up and began to walk across the room EASILY! No limp and no pain, God just healed this women right under our hands!! Ugh, Holy Spirit is so WOW!

September 26th 2018, four months before I need to be fully funded to continue on this journey.
As of right now I’m $5,600 away from being fully funded, so let’s finish this last bit of fundraising ASAP!
So, you might be asking “What happens if you don’t meet that goal?” And to be honest, I have no idea and I have NO intention of finding out. If I’m certain of anything, it’s that I’m not supposed to be doing anything else with my life right now except this crazy thing called The World Race. God is teaching me exactly how close He is and how comforting it is to know that as long as I’m walking in Him and being who He has called me to be, my life will be abundant and glorifying to Him. How AWESOME and SWEET is that?!
So, how can you partner with me? You can donate at the link at the top of my blog page, and you can continue to pray for my journey in fundraising!
It’s so crazy to think that I started my journey with the WR a year ago now when I finally decided to listen to God and apply. And now here I am in Guatemala after a year of preparation and nine months of that being fundraising.
You can’t tell me that my God isn’t faithful!
