This week I got a glimpse of Gods heart for Llano, and let me tell y’all, it was SWEET.

Tuesday is one of our evangelism days, on those days we walk around our precious little village and ask the Lord (ATL) where He wants us to go and how we can bring hope to the people there. This day the Lord led us to Saiya, a beautiful single mom who is battling lymphoma. Four years ago she made the brave choice to take her two sons and leave her husband to move back in with her parents in Llano, since then she has been diagnosed with cancer. After finding that out, she reconciled her relationship with the Father and has gotten so much peace and healing from His faithfulness. We prayed for financial stability, continual healing, and for the radiation treatments that start soon to be easy on her body. God gave us sweet encouragement to share with her, like how beautiful and brave she is, how her sons are learning so much from her and her testimony and how the Lord will use that, and to keep chasing after the Lord & the abundance that He has for her life. It was such a sweet house visit getting to know her story and being able to affirm what the Father was already speaking to her about who she is.
When we finished our visits for the afternoon we came into the field that we describe as the center of the community, the kids play soccer here and we always see farmers & cows. We prayed over the space and over the village, during those 10 minutes the Lord revealed his heart for Llano to me and the new season that He is bringing to them.
Gods heart is relentless, it will never stop loving, never stop giving grace. His heart will always pursue, it will always always always love all of the people He created and desire a redemptive relationship with them. This is the core of who God is, this is His desire for the people of the world.
God is using our team to bring a new season of reconciliation & redemption to the village of Llano because He loves them more than words can say! He loves their wide smiles. He loves their heart for family. He loves their humor & life that’s contagious to everyone around them. He loves their tortilla making & crop harvesting hands and He wants to see them raised to the heavens in praise!
Please join me in prayer for Saiya and all of Llano. God is moving and we’re just following Him, expectant to see Him change hearts and heal brokenness.
