Hello everyone, today is officially ONE MONTH until launch date… WHATTT! These past few months have flown by and I have been amazed at the overwhelming love and support from all of you! When I signed up to go on this journey I never expected the ways that God would move in my heart before I even left! I have been blown away over the past few months at the Lord’s faithfulness and generosity through the process of fundraising! And i’m almost there yall! I am currently $665 away from my total fundraising goal! I have just over 3 weeks to reach that, I know that God will provide and I can’t wait to see the ways He does! I have a few updates about the route and ministries we are working with!
I have officially switched trips, and now will be going to Nicaragua and Guatemala for 3 months. For the first 3 weeks, we will be in Ometepe Island, Nicaragua working with a ministry called CICRIN Orphanage. This ministries heart is for children in need. Their mission is to provide children a home of Christian love and support; proper clothing, food, a safe environment; education and vocational paths; an exit strategy allowing independence in Nicaraguan society. The next three weeks we will be going to Ciudad Dario, Nicuaraga working with a ministry called Light & Salt. The mission of Light & Salt Ministries is to disciple, help, train, and empower Nicaraguans to break their cycles of mental, spiritual, and physical poverty. And for the remaining six weeks we will be in Guatemala City working with a ministry called Youth With a Mission. The mission of YWAM is to train, support and equip the local churches and youth.
