With our time here in Quito, Ecuador wrapping up. I’m starting to feel the sadness of leaving this place roll in. A month was definitely not long enough here in this place. Here are some things I learned while here.
- Public transportation is not for the faint of heart
- There’s no such thing as personal space.
- Walking here feeling like your running a 5k
- You have to learn to run on Ecuadorian time
- These kids have so much joy
- Complaining hurts your testimony
- If you let God in he will move in your life.
- Coca Cola here is made with real sugar
- Peanut butter is mad expensive
- Leaving here will be harder than I originally thought
Quito has been amazing I’ve seen God move not only in my life but in the life of my teammates and although leaving here will be tough. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in the other places we are going.
