I’m thrilled to announce that next month I’ll be traveling to West Africa alongside a squad as a story leader.
My role for two months will be to encourage, empower, and inspire those on my squad to capture and share the stories of what God’s doing through their daily lives on the Race. Additonally, I want to lead a perspective shift that views us all as protagonists in our own daily stories, fighting personal battles, experiencing triumphs and shortcomings as we encounter and overcome conflict on our quest toward meaning and personal growth.
We will be aggressive in the pursuit of loving and impacting others, finding riveting and compelling stories, and sharing them, prompting others to join the fight against injustice as well.
I want to inspire everyone to love passionately, and tell their own stories of impacting others. It was a tremendous honor to fight for others on the Race and impact lives alongside all of you, and I’m humbled to do so once more.
I’ve been working toward raising the $1,500 necessary to take the trip, and would be honored if you felt led to help financially support this endeavor. I’ll be posting regularly on my blog and social media accounts and I’d be honored to have you on board as my squad mates and I share the stories that will shape the next two months.
