Hello All!
its been awhile since my last blog, and I thought I would let you all know how things were going.
currently have about 90% of my gear, my backpack, sleeping bag, stuff sacks, tent. I am currently trying to gather the last few things like a guitar case, sleeping mat and assorted cloths and what not. I have currently raised $4,075 with more still to come!
its been an intense and challenging 6 months since August. this has already been one of the hardest things I have ever done and we haven’t left yet. there are many ups and downs. some days I’m motivated and excited to get things done. other days I’m second guessing myself and doubt if I even should going or if its even worth the trouble. just a whirlwind of emotions that can be very overwhelming. I felt called to this to trip to put myself in a position to rely on God completely and unconditionally and not just when I feel there is no other way. Its on of my greatest struggles as a Christian…willingly let God have control(as if its I had any control in the first place…) Trusting in Him, knowing he is good and that he will lead me where he wants me to be. something you all can be praying for.
I still have a long way to go, but, the next 5 months are going go faster then the first six.
I want to thank you all who donated and have been in prayer for me already, please continue to pray that funds will still continue to come in, and that I remain focused and that I would continue to grow through this experience.
