People ask me a lot what my favorite/hardest country/ministry/food is all the time on the race, and I find a lot of people are surprised by my answers. So I figured I’d blog about it.

3 favorite countries (from a landscape point of view)

3.Romania (mountains hello/all the bricks/charming little houses)

2.Greece (mountains, harbors, ancient buildings, you could see turkey)

1.Lesotho (all the mountains – one morning we were literally in the clouds I couldn’t see 10 feet in front of me, super green fields, waterfalls, rock pools)

And all of them had 10/10 sunsets ok

3 favorite ministries

3.Thailand (relational evangelism)

2.Greece (refugee camp)

1.South Africa (camp councilor)

3 favorite foods (basically all of Thailand)

Khao soy

Nutella banana naan

Thai green curry

3 favorite airports

3.Seim Reip (Cambodia) – you get to walk to your plane and get Starbucks it’s awesome and they use USD

2.Kuala Lumper (Malaysia) – smoothies, H&M, nandos

1.Singapore – it literally has everything including Starbucks and movie theater and art and good wifi and anything you can think of

3 grossest things I’ve eaten (surprisingly not that bad)

3.Longan (weird Asian fruit)

2.Bean Curd (self explanatory)

1.Tarantula (even though it was only one leg)

3 Toughest ministries

3.Just all of refugee camp – (Greece) Lots of hard situations

2.Month 2 street evangelism- (Romania) I had no idea what I was doing and it was so heavy and almost everyone we met we didn’t get to see again

1.Teaching English (Myanmar) – not for me but I made some awesome friends

most captivating people groups

Malaysian Chinese – they just want to feed you and they laugh a lot and find really random things really interesting

Myanmar and Serbian – (For some reason they were SO similar) The most loving and inviting and loyal and protective people

Islamic – my heart is big for them and they are so hospitable

Thanks for reading,

Alexis 🙂
