Hello!!!!
So, I’ve been home a little over a month. I’ve caught up with fam and friends, gone to training camp for the second time, and been on family vacation!
Re entry is weird and different than I expected. The choices and abundance in America can be over whelming at times. Honestly it’s kind of still weird to understand what everyone is saying and to know what you actually ordered at a restaurant.
I’ve been totally surrounded by the best people that know how to love me well and ask beautiful questions and give me the space to think. Somehow I’ve been given people that seek out all of my favorite things and quirks – like taking me to the gym & making me coffee & letting me sit on their couch for hours on end.
For two weeks I was at training camp in Gainesville, GA at “world race headquarters” with my leadership team. I did the whole sleeping in tents, sitting in sessions, and sweating buckets all over again. You know what?? I loved this training camp even more than my own! I grew more, laughed harder, worshiped louder, and spoke a lot more boldly than at my training camp. I saw truly how much I had grown on my 11 months and it built up an unstoppable momentum to give these next nine months everything.
In the next month or so I’ll be fundraising, speaking at a couple churches, and resting a LOT. If you want to hang out, call me, mail me a letter, or take my dog to the park contact me please!!! I’d love to chat about this adventure, what Jesus is doing in YOUR life, or nothing at all!
