I will be experiencing a week of WR training camp in Tennessee starting Saturday, October 12th; five different squads will be spending a week in Tennessee to meet/interact with one another, experience times of worship and spiritual growth, and have training sessions to prepare us culturally, spiritually, physically, mentally/emotionally for our 11 month mission trip around the world.

I AM THOROUGHLY EXCITED!!  I am EXCITED to see what God has in store for each squad, and each individual, over the next week. I am EXCITED to experience spiritual, physical, mental/emotional trials, joys, and overall growth. I am EXCITED to have so many new experiences and meet so many wonderful people that I will have the joy of bonding and serving with all over the world. I am EXCITED to be taken out of my comfort zone.  I am EXCITED for this trial run before the World Race begins in January.

Current prayer requests:

  1. – That God will continue to provide for me and every other individual on The World Race, spiritually, financially, physically, mentally/emotionally.
  2. – That I will remain rested and well over this next week. That all of us will remain safe during Training Camp.
  3. – That I will truly, LET GO, LET GOD; leave behind my expectations and FULLY trust in the Lord and His will for me.
  4. – That God will break the chains and confines of the box that I’ve put Him in. Give me the faith of that even of a mustard seed, faith to move mountains.

Who’s excited for training camp?!? … THIS GIRL!

“24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” – Corinthians 9:25-27
