This is not so much a World Race blog, but I thought I would share on my blog seeing that it applies to the entire body of Christ.. I will recount one of the most in depth interactions I have had during my time with The Lord. I talk with Him often, but He wanted me to share this… If no reason other than the fact that as World Racers we have been tasked with carrying His name to 11 countries in 11 months…. We are vital when it comes to the return of The Lord… We may travel, but we travel with power on an assignment.
Okay so here it goes….
SO, I was laughing one moment and then the Holy Spirit took me to Matthew 6:6 “When you pray, enter into a closet and shut the door..” , so I knew it was Him calling me into prayer.
Then it just went from 0 to 100 really quick… There were sirens blaring in the spiritual realm….He spoke very clearly, so I would be re-missed if I stayed quiet. There was an instant heaviness.. like He was grieving at the state of the body of Christ and all I could do was fall to my knees and cry out. Jesus is coming sooner than we think. The bride is asleep… We must awaken and return to holiness… Return to the cross at once..The time is nearer than we think. Put aside the perverse doctrine and lifestyles… The earth is groaning.. (Romans 8:22) We must ready the bride, for her groom is soon to come.
He then took me to James 5:7 that says, ” Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. 8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. 9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!”
& Then to Ephesians 5:14 ““Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
… I think the message is pretty clear.I have had many encounters with The Holy Spirit, but this was one of those I couldn’t forget if I tried. For those who are awake with their ears hearkened unto the voice of The Lord, we must keep oil in our lamps… Stay rooted.. Sober and alert.
