Well, this is it. My World Race is officially over. I have been through 11 countries in the past 11 months of my life. I have been to Guatemala, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, India, Swaziland, Botswana, Albania, and Ukraine. (Check out my final video of the World Race below. It is of the last 2 months here in Eastern Europe in the countries of Albania and Ukraine.)

The Lord has done incredible things in and through me this year. One thing I have learned for certain this past year is that God is huge, and He is everywhere. He is working all over to care for and love His children in the midst of all the pain and suffering this world holds. It is humbling to know He used me in that process: to love, to hold, to care, to serve, and to pray for His people.

I wanted to dedicate this blog to all my supporters. Thank you for your prayers, donations, and encouraging words during these past 11 months. You have no idea how much that means to me. I am blessed to have you all as part of my story around the world. Without you, this whole thing would not have been possible.

And above all, glory be to God! He is a good, good Father who loves us all so much. This year, Jesus has been my Comforter, Shelter, Provider, Strength, Father, Power, Healer, Friend, Peace, Hope, and my Beloved. He has made my life more full than it has ever been, and I can’t wait to bring what I have learned and experienced to everyone back home.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”2 Timothy 4:7

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Next stop: home in the United States of America! See you soon, everybody! 🙂
