Meet Patricia!
She is on Team Atlas which is the team that is serving with us this month in Dobromirka, Bulgaria! She is from Canada and her family celebrates Thanksgiving on October 9th.
As two teams we know how homesick we will be on November 23rd this year. Being away from family is hard in general but being away on a holiday is even tougher. Knowing that your whole family is together celebrating with delicious food and loving on each other without you!
So who says we can’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Bulgaria during the month of October? We are miles away from home and sometimes that is difficult but I have peace knowing that these people are my family.
