$800 away from being FULLY FUNDED
First off, I would like to thank each and every person that has donated and supported this trip. I have been absolutely blown away by all the amazing people that God has placed in my path that have been full of encouraging words and gratitude for what I am doing. When I first began fundraising I knew that the task wasn’t going to be easy, $18,017 is not a small number but when you put your faith in God he never fails you. He has moved mountains for me in the last two months. He has placed so much peace and confirmation on my heart that my worries are not present.
Just a little recap on all of the fundraisers that I have done since being accepted to the World Race.
Fish Fry
Softball Tournament
T-Shirts
Adopt-A-Box
On top of those fundraisers God put some pretty amazing people in my life that allowed me the opportunity to speak to the Montague County Cowboy Church, be in the Bowie and Times Record newspaper, and the Live It magazine. How incredible is that? People within the community came to me and offered to share my story, which is no doubt the hand of God.
Whether you contributed financially or prayerfully it means the world to me. This would not be possible without each of you. So thank you again and I hope that you continue to follow my journey to build God’s kingdom.
First stop will be Sombor, Serbia. My team along with another team on my squad will be working with a ministry called Protestant Christian Fellowship of Sombor. Our ministry will be discipleship of young people through building relationships with them. We will do this through sports, games, song, dance, English club, meals, coffee, etc. anything that helps create and grow friendship.
Team Paradosis & Team Ahava will be in Sombor!
Please continue to pray for not only me and my team but also my entire squad as they will be spread across Serbia and Albania.
A chapter in my life is about to be officially over as I say some pretty hard goodbyes. I am finally a college graduate and I quit my job after 6 years. I am beyond grateful for everything that I have learned the last few years but here is to the next season of life!
