Last night quickly turned into this morning as my entire squad loaded up on a bus at 2 a.m to head to the airport. We went from the Holiday Inn in Atlanta, Georgia to Miami, Florida. Our first flight wasn’t until 7 a.m so when we arrived we picked an open spot in the airport and tried to get some sleep. The flight was only an hour and a half. We then had a 6 hour layover in Miami before our 4 p.m. flight to Lisbon, Portugal. After Portugal we will fly to Budapest, Hungary and get on a bus to Novi Sad, Serbia. We are staying the night with a ministry host there and we will continue on to Sombor, Serbia Wednesday morning!
Though the day has been long it has been full of laughs and good community. Our squad is splitting up between Serbia and Albania so in Miami we had to hug half of our squad goodbye as they take on a different ministry this month. So with bad breath and messy hair we were all able to enjoy the last few hours together. My heart goes out to each and every one of my team members. I pray that God will speak through us and give us the strength to endure our first month without the comforts of home and our loved ones. I pray that we are bold and tenacious about sharing the gospel and that we are examples of Christ and his love every moment of every day.

P.S. My pack only weighed 36 lbs! Wahooo!

Also, since I have started my social media fast I am asking each of you to share this blog on your own social media and encourage people to subscribe!

Much love!
