A Prayer.

Jesus, I have tasted and seen your goodness and your glory this year. I have beheld your creation on numerous mountaintops and in the middle of the valley—and all I want is more of You.

My heart is made anew in your presence, O God. My heart is set ablaze with a desire to know more of Your heart. I am thirsty for more of you, Jesus. More of your Kingdom. More of your presence. More of your glory. More of your majesty. More of your grace. More.

In You I lack nothing. In You I have always had more than enough.

“I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.  I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:12-13)

With you, God, I have done all things and more. On the days I thought I would be lacking food or clean water, You always provided immeasurably more than I needed. You never once forsake me. Thank you, Jesus.

I want more of you God. May I never grow tired of saying “Yes” to the next step in life you have ordained for me.

Thank you for this season on the World Race—continue to sustain me as I press forward into the next.

Amen.
