this last wednesday was definitely one of my most memorable ministry days this month!
our contact, Pastor Szombor, arranged for 5 of us to go and share what we’re doing with our lives and to teach a some English songs to a couple middle school and high school English classes!!
It was a challenge because we weren’t allowed to talk about Jesus when mentioning our lifestyles, but we could sing songs about Jesus! So that’s what we did. We didn’t speak Jesus,… we SANG jESUS!

this is the 13 and 14 year old class… they were absolutely amazing!
and this is the 12 and 13 year olds…. adorable!
The most precious moments of the day were when we would ask the different classes of students to sing the Chorus of the songs by themselves (because they caught onto the songs so quickly!!). I was overwhelmed by the presence of God in the innocence of the children. They were singing songs of deliverance over themselves. Lord, I give You my heart. I give You my soul. I live for You alone. Every breath that I take, every moment I’m awake, Lord have Your way in me.
Jesus, I pray that just as Mary delivered the One that would soon-after deliver her… that these songs would be songs of deliverance over these children. That they would be delivered SOON.
