Dear Friends and Family,

Over the last few years, God has been using me and teaching me in many ways; not the least of which has been a call towards missions. I have had a never-ending desire to reach the world and share the love and hope of Christ, while meeting the physical and emotional needs of those who are suffering.

As some of you know, this last July, I took a big step of faith and went to Haiti, where I was able to share the gospel of Jesusf love, minister to the Haitian people through music, and reach out to the poorest of the poor in many practical ways. My prayer before leaving to Haiti was that the Lord would not only work through me, but that He would work in me. I can gratefully and confidently say that both of these were accomplished, but the work is not done! The Lord has used my time in Haiti to show me that He has a bigger and possibly more long-term plan for missions in my life.

I am excited to share with you the things that the Lord is doing! I have been given the opportunity to go on an 11-month mission trip this coming July 2010, where I will be working alongside an organization called Adventures in Missions (AIM). After prayerfully considering this opportunity, I believe that once again, the Lord is asking me to take a leap of faith. Acts 20:24 says, gHowever, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.h I believe that God has been equipping me through my present ministries in worship leading and short-term missions to be able to serve Him in a more intense, hands-on capacity.

My main purposes on this mission trip will be to serve the poorest of the poor, grow in my faith and knowledge of the Lord, work closely in community with other believers, and to gain a better perspective of Godfs heart in reaching people for His kingdom. As a team, we will be meeting and partnering with ministries that have already been established; also given the opportunity, we will be a part of new church and ministry plants across the globe. The confirmed destinations for my journey are The Dominican Republic, [a long-desired return to] Haiti, Turkey, Romania, Cambodia, and Mozambique. We will also be serving in other areas of Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa. AIMfs two main ministries are working with AIDS orphans and Human Trafficking. Depending on where we are, our ministries will vary from teaching AIDs prevention in Africa, playing with orphans in India, working to stop sex trafficking in Thailand and Cambodia and helping women and children to live after being freed from the sex industry, teaching English in Turkey and introducing people to the Gospel, and outreaching to gypsies in Romania by bringing those that have been shunned from their communities to Christ and introducing them to other believers that will love them, along with building projects of all kinds, ministering with my music, and everything else in between.

This is, quite frankly, a huge commitment. And in order to experience this amazing opportunity, I need to raise a significant amount of money. To live on $5.00 per day (which includes my food and lodging), travel to each destination, and to help pay for supplies and work/building projects for the year, I need to raise $15,000 through one-time gifts and monthly support donations.

I believe that the@Lord is moving in mighty and wonderful ways in this generation. He is@asking [US] His children to step out in faith and serve Him in ways they never thought possible. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says, gWe are therefore Christfs ambassadors, as though Christ was making his appeal through us.h Although you may not be able to serve in the same@capacity as me, I believe that the Lord desires to use you to make an impact@in a different, but equally IMPORTANT@capacity by partnering with me through prayer and financial support.

It is an absolute joy to share such a big part of my life with you, because I have learned that I cannot minister in these great ways apart from your help! I also believe that this yearlong journey is something that we can experience together. Beginning now, I will be making weekly updates to my missionary blog about all the things the Lord is and will continue to teach me along this journey. www.AlexandraReiner.TheWorldRace.org

I am very excited about how God will continue to work through me, and in me with this experience. But even more so, I hope to be a blessing to those I serve, and also to you. My desire is to go as your representative of Jesus Christ. I hope you will prayerfully consider being part of this ministry with me. Thank you for all the ways you have impacted my life, helping to bring me to where I am today.

Living for Him,

I am trusting in Godfs provision for this endeavor. If you feel led to share in my ministry through funding and prayer, you can fill out the attached coupon and return it**. You can also support me financially by clicking on the this Support Me link.

My support-raising goal is to raise $15,000.00 in the next 12 months. I am required by AIM to have 60% of the funds in my missionary account my July 1st, 2010 (when I depart). In addition, I have the first 6 months on the field to continue raising the remainder of my financial support. Every little bit helps! If 45 people can commit to donating $30.00/month for 12 months, or 150 families give $100.00/ea., or if you gave $20.00c or even $10.00. Every amount makes a difference!!

If you have any further questions, or just want to talk about what the Lord is doing in my heart, or to obtain more coupons, please feel free to stop me anytime you see me, or call me at (909)266-3446. I look forward to hearing from you!

**Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470.
