I have this good ol’ teammate. And by ol’ I do indeed mean old because team changes booooo. But anyway, her name is SaraLou Neville. She is from UPSTATE New York, not the city. God’s blessed her with a super dope fiancé. Shouts out Fredward! She’s weird and lovely and very very fun. And she wanted to take care of me by writing a recap of our time together on the race.
So to SaraLou: Thanks for loving me by writing blogs, making me laugh, pushing me to not take seven years to tie my shoelaces, and overall just being a pal.
And to all my people back home & abroad: Thanks for loving me and being who you are. You are beautiful and strong and full of life, and it is a privilege to call you family or friend or even just fellow human for all you strangers reading this. I hope we run into each other someday.
