…Just kidding! But I really did have a dream on the plane to LAX that I forgot my bible, passport, and shoes. Whew that would suck…don’t worry they’re all there. I really can’t believe it’s already October and I’m about to embark on this journey.Packing was hard, goodbyes were harder, but I am so ready to go love on the world 🙂
We flew out of LAX around 1:45 am and then went to…somewhere…El Salvador? I don’t know and then we took a short flight to Antingua.We got here around 10 am, freaked out when we all finally saw each other (yessss reunited and it feels so good). We got down to some business, ate pizza, and now we have just a little bit of free time. It’s so great to be back with all of my squad, we’re all pretty out of it right now and I feel like I haven’t slept for days…because I really haven’t.
We have a few days in Antingua (which is the cutest little town) then leave on Wednesday to where we’ll be staying for the month here in Guatemala. It definitely still hasn’t hit me that my journey has begun. I have no idea what these next 11 months have in store for me, but I can’t wait to find out…and share with you! Sorry this blog post is so scatter brained and not much detail. We’re doing a 48 hour internet fast just to start to get us used to the lack of technology. So, I will update yall in a few days with more details and pictures. Loving this journey so far and love you all!
