This past month my team and I had the pleasure of teaching English in Kampot Province in Cambodia. We were working with an amazing ministry led by a true man of God named Vuthy. Vuthy has such a clear vision for his village and for the people of Cambodia and was an inspiration to us all.

Throughout the month I really felt like God was trying to speak to me about the way that I love people. It's no secret that I'm not exactly what you would call a "people person". I usually don't open up to people I don't know well. And a lot of the time I don't feel like I can show love to someone who hasn't earned it in my eyes. But this month God showed me how wrong that is. I should be showing love to everyone, despite how well I know them or what they have done for me. After I realized this, I tried each day to love better. I would wake up in the morning and ask God to just help me love those around me that day. I found that I began to experience the most joy I had had on the race so far. I was able to just love on the kids I was teaching. I was able to love the members of my new team. And I was able to love our contacts and the boys who lived with us. Last month was definitely one of my favorite months and was one that I felt I truly changed for the better.

Below are two videos that my teammate Owen made about our time last month. One is a recap of our ministry, and the other is a feature about teaching English.

This month, due to a lack of contacts in other countries, my team is staying in Cambodia again! We are now living in Phnom Penh and teaching English to university students. I can't wait to see how God continues to work in this incredible country!
