Fundraising, funeral, and fungus all have the same first three letters- fun. Yet, none of them are what I would consider to be enjoyable.
Nevertheless, fundraising is imperative for missions. In the heart of missions is God’s people joined together to go, pray, and send, all for Jesus’ fame, and all of which are vital for the nations to know Him!
For me, asking for financial support is not hard, but it certainly isn’t my favorite thing. Yet I know that for me to go share the gospel, I need God’s people behind me in every way.
This is where you come in.
By May (3 weeks from now) I need to raise at least $6,000. I made that red because it’s scary. However, I’m completely trusting in the faithfulness and provision of Jesus. As some of my fellow squad mates have said, “Why should I worry about getting funded to go to Africa when the one who created it called me there?”
So, as I am trusting and relying on Jesus to provide, I wonder if He is calling you to join me in taking the good news to the nations?
