Here's a look at a few of the ministries we have been involved with in Floresti, Moldova!
Adopt-a- Granny! This church partners with an international organization, and through donations they are able to provide food, clothing, etc. to about 300 elderly men and women in their area. We get the joyful job of assisting in any way we can. Basically we get loved on, kissed on, and hugged on by the sweetest ladies in Moldova. It makes my heart so happy!

Cherry picking & Weeding! Moldova has the BEST cherry trees on earth. Seriously, I’ve never had such sweet and juicy cherries. One of the perks of walking a granny home—she will let you get an old wooden ladder out and pick as many cherries as you like from her cherry tree. So delicious!
We are also helping some of the widowed ladies weed their gardens. I enjoy getting in some “manual labor” and working up a good sweat.

Flash Mob! Yes, a flash mob will take place this Sunday in the town square. The church asked Bekah (who dances professionally) to teach the children, young adults, and our team a dance routine to do at the churches community outreach. Just proves once again that on the WR, you must be prepared to do anything!
