Throughout the race, I have been journaling my prayers, experiences, and feelings. When I was in Cambodia for month 8, I decided to go through and read all of my journal entries since day 1 of the race. I found it to be really therapeutic and was able to see how the Lord answered prayers, changed me, and refined my teammates.
I decided to continue writing on my personal blog that I was using prior to the race. I’m going through my journals and writing about my entries. Some are really silly, some are really open and vulnerable.
Overall, going back through them and writing about them is helping me process this whole experience. Right now, I just have stories, but hopefully by the end of the day, I will have my photos uploaded.
So check out my page and leave comments about any questions about anything. Especially if you’re a future racer, I know ya’ll have questions haha. So bring them my way and I’ll do my best to impart wisdom I’ve learned from the last 10 months to ya’ll.
