I"m officially a college graduate! And now, i can fully focus on support raising. Support raising had been this huge daunting task in light of wrapping up my final semester of college, and working almost full-time. And honestly, it is still a bit daunting. It's not that I have any doubts that the Lord will provide for my trip. I know that he doesn't call us to do something and then leave us hanging. My biggest struggle with support raising is that I like things done fast. I'm also incredibly results driven and like quantifiable data to back up my methods. (I also know that there are several people rolling their eyes reading this, but i really can't help it… i did major in business).

A good friend recently told me that the Lord was always on time, but rarely early. And not to be surprised if the day before my first support goal deadline, i still didn't have the goal amount in its entirety. Zing. Truth.

through all of this, the Lord is preparing my heart and teaching me to trust fully in His timing. and to remember that His timing is so much better than my own — because it teaches full reliance on Him and reminds me that I cannot do it alone. And why would i want to? The creator of the universe understands my needs and has it all figured out.So why do i worry about it? I'm in the safest place I can possibly be, right in the center of where the Lord has called me. It may not be comfortable or my first choice, but the Lord will provide.

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
