Blankenheim, Germany captured our hearts. The little town was charming and full of the RADDEST people! They opened their homes to us, and loved us greatly. We were there 5 weeks and cried like babies at the pain of leaving.
We worked with New Life Church. All its members live in a strong and loving community. It is a wonderfully safe place. It is interesting because this strong community has been created because no one really leaves. The expectations is that you find a spouse from within the church, marry quickly, and settle in the same town. But what if you are one of the few who feel a calling to the nations? It can be a scary thing to break the mold. That’s why the youth we met, impacted my heart so greatly. They are asking hard questions, and dreaming big dreams of something new. They are the ones who will change their community and the world as they follow their dreams. Ich liebe dich!!!
