I’ve been told many times go into this process without any expectations. I’ve been told that I need to be fluid because flexible things can break. I’ve been told that everything is so different from country to country and contact to contact that there’s really no telling what we’ll be doing during our time around the globe.
Based on all of these helpful suggestions I’m trying to go into this without thinking about what I’ll be doing exactly. I do have some though.
I expect God to show up in ways I’ve never seen before, and make His presence known in ways I didn’t know were possible.
I expect to tell people around the globe about Jesus and God’s grace, mercy, and love for us all.
I expect to use the authority of prayer we are given as followers of Jesus.
I expect to come back completely changed.
And I expect to be uncomfortable while doing it.
