As some of you may already know, I've recently made the decision to change routes…
Instead of leaving in January 2014, I will now be leaving in July!
This was such a tough decision for me to make (although now I have total peace about it!).
For the past 3-4 months I've been getting to know my fellow racers for JanRoute4 and was so looking forward to meeting them all at Training Camp… I've been preparing (mentally, financially, spiritually, emotionally, etc) to leave in just over 4 months… My family and friends have been preparing…
But even though God has told me to "GO," He has also told me to "Wait"…and we all know that when God speaks to you, you listen.
I don't always understand God's ways, but we aren't always supposed to!
Delaying will ultimately be best in a lot of areas (the biggest being family and finances)…and I believe that God has big plans for me on this new route. 🙂
Switching routes means new countries too! So here is new the list of where I'll be going:
South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Bulgaria, Turkey, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua (4 of which were in my former route)!
While I'm not leaving for another 10 months or so now and financial deadlines have been pushed back, I still could use any and all help!
I want to take a huge step out in faith and aim to be fully funded by July 1, 2014! That's a little over 10 months from now, but I know it can be done!!
I will be sending out new support letters in the next month or so, but in the meantime you can still make donations online by clicking the "Support Me!" link at the top and left hand side of my blog page (there is a small online fee & be sure to allow a few days for processing), or make checks payable to the following:
Adventures In Missions
P.O. BOX 742570
Atlanta, GA 30374-2570
(memo line: Aleisa Mifflin)
You can submit "one-time" donations, or choose to sponsor me monthly, and all donations are tax deductible (Adventures in Missions will send you a receipt for tax purposes)! I'll also be sure to keep everyone updated on new fundraisers I'll have going on the next few months!
Thank you SO much for your support so far (financially, prayerfully, emotionally, etc)…it seriously means the world to me!!!
Much Love!!
