Team Relentless is here in Belize for month 10, pioneering the country for future AIM teams. #youbettabelizeit!
Our first stop once we got into the country was the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, in the town of San Pedro. Going in we had several ministries to contact and by day 2 the meetings started. Throughout our meetings and talking to people in the area, a name kept popping up in conversation: Clive (aka “Clive the radio guy”).
Clive owns and runs a Christian radio station in San Pedro, and seriously, everyone knows and loves this guy…and after he joined us in a meeting with another potential contact (SHINE–which I will blog about next), I could see why! This guy is LEGIT. He not only runs the radio station, but he works alongside the Evangelical Alliance, was a former youth pastor, and has a huge heart for the youth in San Pedro. While several ministries throughout the area work individually, his desire is to see all churches come together for the good of The Kingdom.
He has such strong knowledge and discernment when it comes to ministry and how to best reach those in need, especially the youth of the area, and could already see the future possibilities of building local ministries through partnering with Adventures in Missions.
I’m so excited to see The Lord continue to work through Clive and can only hope and pray that future teams will be sent to work with him!
