Hey y’all! Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my FUNdraising status!
As you can probably tell by the status bar at the top of the page, I haven’t quite reached my next deadline of $7,500 that is fast approaching. Including pledged monthly donations, I am still in need of just over $2,600 by next Friday (June 20th).
Now I’ll be honest…a month ago I was seriously doubting that it would be possible to meet this deadline. That’s when God stepped in and was like, “Daughter, why are you worrying? Trust me, I got this.” And then He brought in nearly $1,000 in the two weeks following training camp…
Okay, God. I hear you.
Since training camp I have had a surprisingly calm attitude towards fundraising…and it’s actually been a little more on the fun side, if you can believe it. While I haven’t completely taken the “backseat” approach to fundraising, I’ve definitely stepped back a little more and let God lead. And I seriously get so excited when I see your donations come through…every donation is just further proof of our God’s provision, and gets me one step closer to leaving on the World Race.
That being said, I do want to point out that this coming Tuesday, June 17th, is the last day for online donations to count towards meeting this next goal. Of course any donations made after that date will still count towards my overall goal of just over $16,200.
