Why would I, Aleesa Dawn Byrne, decide to go on the World Race. Well, my thoughts are WHY NOT?
I first heard about the World Race a year ago from my pastor. I did some research on the Race and thought, ‘Hmmm, looks amazing, but I’m looking for something a little more permanent.’
Well a year passes by and I am a Children’s Director at church with a stable office job. That’s what I wanted, right? That was the plan. Ever since I graduated from college the plan was to find a church to serve in and to find a job that could possibly turn into a career. Well, I guess that was my own plan, not God’s plan for my life.
This past year I have been restless and at times unhappy with my life. Not knowing what my future holds or if life right now is my future. I have always wanted to do something big with my life, something that only God could do through me. Well, this is that chance, or maybe the time for God to show me what that future chance will be.
