Hello, my name is Aleesa Byrne, and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in the small town of Hobart, Oklahoma. My home church is where I found how much I love to serve and go on mission trips. But more importantly, I learned how much I love to be surrounded by a church family and fellow believers.
I graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Spanish. Throughout the 4 years of college, I really got to find myself and some of my passions. One being that, I love the world and want nothing else then to travel and see as much of it as I can. I would love to see all what God has created and the people that populate those places. The idea of seeing the different places, the different cultures, and how different people live has always fascinated me. God has given me a desire to travel and to serve, and that is why I know He has had His hand in giving me the opportunity to go on the World Race.
Currently, I am working full time as an insurance team member at a State Farm Agency, as well as, a bivocational Children’s Director at my church. God has been working in my life in the past year. Growing and stretching me for what is to come next in my life.

~ I enjoy visiting, experiencing, and learning about new cultures, which makes me super excited about the World Race.
~ I wouldn’t say I’m great, but I can play the guitar and have taken some piano lessons. I aspire to keep learning instruments and to eventually learn how to play the banjo.
