*A journal entry*

After 41 hours of travel…

Its like 4am, I’m sitting outside our rooms with a flashlight. Listening to the roosters wake everyone up. I woke up having to go pee so bad. There was a frog in the restroom (a hole in the ground). Yesterday I was a little shocked. Seeing the kids made bucket showers and sleeping on the ground not as bad. We have amazing hosts, Vendy and his wife who run the orphanag. Our translator is another American who lives here full time to teach the kids. His name is Courtney and he is awesome. His story and heart and connection with these kids is so cool. The hosts and Courtney take incredible care of us. Our commune is kind of country/on the outside of the town. It’s beautiful with dirt roads and palm/fruit trees. The stars are crazy. The weathers not bad, but getting hotter! The kids are 5yrs old to 18ish. Boys and girls but more boys. They go to a school down morning the road. We teach them English/talk about the Bible with them M-F for a couple hours. Saturday and Sunday we have a worship service. The kids are so interested and love learning about the Bible! A lot of them want to be translators when they grow up and tell people about Jesus! The little kids always sing “Happy Birthday” hahaha and call us “sista”. One of the older boys “Johnny Boy” cooks us lunch and dinner every day and WOW. Another sweet neighbor boy brings us drinking water. I have felt so served and taken care of. And my team! I love these girls and they are all so special. They challange me and are beautiful pictures of Jesus. We are currently  fundraising for a few projects that need done around here.

We went to a neighborping village and praying over a young crippled girl. She  in a terrible motorbike accident and broke her back. Her family is too poor to take her to the hospital. Some organizations are helping her, but we bought her family food.

Please be praying for sleeping and health! And for our other teams in other countries who are being attacked heavily by the Devil!
