Heeeellllllooooooo!!!!!
I am embarking on the World Race!!! This means I will be going on an eleven month journey, traveling to 1 country/month, all for Jesus. I leave this September on Route 2 (which has been modified from the posting on the website- http://www.theworldrace.org/?tab=routes&subtab=september-2013-2 and countries in red replace the ones crossed out):
I am traveling with ~50 other people ages 21-35 (this group is called a "squad", I am on "second generation V squad"), and our squad is divided into teams of 6-7 people. Below is a picture of my team, team Sozo, from left to right: Johnna, me, Kaleigh, Celena, Emily, Meghan (blue scarf), and Rachel.
Why am I going? I want to go seek out and serve the forgotten people of the world, I want to share Jesus with them, and thus hope, love, and faith. I have a passion to help people to live life FULLY and not live distracted, or in despair. Life is a gift, and I want to help people unwrap theirs! And this includes YOU! I want to share with you my experiences, inspire you, and challenge you, so please click on the left side of this screen on "update alerts" and enter your email for alerts when I post something new:).
I value financial honesty and responsibility and so does AIM (Adventures in Mission – the organization World Race is through). I need to be fully funded by the middle of February 2014, but I aim to be fully funded prior to September 2013. I need $6500USD for sure before September 2013. It is my prayer to go fully funded when I leave this September.
