Starting Point

Have you ever heard of the phrase, “Busy doing nothing”? I’M GUILTY.

The past two months I have been running around, here and there, always involved in something but it has amounted to a whole lot of nothing.

Truth is, the race is coming FAST and I’m nervous. Since announcing the race, I’ve been asked a multitude of questions that I truly was not ready to answer because I was not ready to face the reality of giving up everything that I just started to jump into the unknown. I say unknown because my specific route does not have an agenda… the ONLY January 2018 route without an agenda. I’m a planner btw for those of you who weren’t aware. You see how that worked out. 🙂

I received an email Friday that I needed to have my passport uploaded online by midnight. On Friday, I was “busy” in North Carolina and my passport was in Virginia (where I probably should’ve been). Then two days later it was brought to my attention that I need to have $5,000 raised by September 23, 2017. Five Thousand Dollars in one month. This kind of stress required some quiet time with the Lord, because I surely started considering an out! (Aka “I QUIT”!) During my prayer time, I was reminded of when He told me back in March, “You’re going to have to run faster than this for where I’m about to take you”. My head dropped in frustration realizing I’ve been on a hamster wheel for two months. But I picked my head up and told myself to get ready for this new season. Transition time!

In this photo I have written the name of each country on planks of wood that I am set to serve in next year. I placed these planks close to the ground because they are sitting here with me right now as I intercede for a modern day miracle. Yes, I am sitting on my bottom but sometimes that is where you must start. My vision is to mobilize these planks off the ground by September 23rd. I am calling out to all my prayer warriors and supporters to help me make this make this vision a reality! I am claiming that the funds will be met for this trip and every deadline will be made. In Jesus name, Amen!
