I am ginger — now you know the secret to my awesomeness. If you shave my head, I will likely die. My family is the best ever — sorry, but yep — they’re cooler than yours. I’d still have a flip phone if I had an adequate way to GPS myself around the country as efficiently as I can with my not-flip phone. I love Jesus, but I fall short a lot on being who He’s made me to be…thankfully, He is very forgiving & sees way more for me than I can ever see for myself. He is my everything. I love being a nurse almost as much as hiking, jamming out in my car with a buddy, & wiffel ball. Well…let’s not get carried away…wiffel ball is a-mazing. The Philadelphia Eagles are my team & though I am stoked about world race, I’m a little crushed I’m gonna miss them in the super bowl, because we ARE going this year, baby! Bleed green! I love to goof off & I love to have heart to hearts. I have serious social anxiety but am working on it. I love game nights. I love my nieces & nephews fiercely. I love that despite all my failures & awkwardness, God is so much bigger than those things & can still somehow work through me. I love the people in my life…they are so precious. & I love visiting them even if it’s few & far between. I love my parents — they’re my biggest cheerleaders, though my brother is close behind & probably truly gets my heart unlike anyone else & can tell me the hard things when I need to hear them. I love that my dad’s jokes are almost always so bad but that we can’t help but encourage him & make just as awful jokes in return. I want to be like my mom when I grow up. I love Disney World. I’d rather be in the mountains almost always. I like the beach, too, but I’d pick mountains every time. New Zealand is an amazing country that I will always be in love with. I love the Bible & that it’s the source of all truth & is filled with so many precious promises. When it comes to mountains, the German Alps were my first love, but I have space in my heart for them all. Scotland also has a part of me. I love travel but I love my home, which is where my family is. I love that there is always hope with Jesus…I need it every day. I love that my identity is in Him, & that He is my rock no matter what kinda messes I get myself into. I love that God is so accessible & that He cares about the little stuff just as much as the big stuff. I love that He wants me to talk to Him, & that He is so good to me. I may have an unhealthy relationship with Starbucks…my wallet is angry & isn’t speaking to me because of it. I love snorkeling & am dying to learn to scuba! Pop is my favorite of the Rice Krispies, & I love the world of possibilities ahead…okay…is that enough of an answer under a section labeled “About”? I am also the world’s greatest procrastinator…I have a merit badge. Well…I would if I had shown up to scouts.
