Having only been walking with the Lord for a little while I've never put much thought into the person of the Holy Spirit, or the fact that the Holy Spirit is a person. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He has attributes of personality such as intelligence and volition. He reproves, helps, glorifies and intercedes for us. He is indwelling within me. As a Christian I desire to be filled with the Spirit so that I can walkin spirit and truth. I have to surrender everything that my body posesses to him, that is, my will, and my personality. When I am fully surrendered to God, I'm different. I can flee from temptation and i have a greater desire for righteousness rather than giving into my flesh and sinning.
