S U R P R I S E! Today you get 2 posts in one day! This one will mainly be a few of my favorite pictures from our time in Cyprus last month. Since we were working with refugees, out of respect and privacy we did not take pictures of people at Oasis but I wanted to share some fun things we got to see and do while we were in the country. Hope you enjoy 🙂

We stayed in the port city of Larnaka on the south side of Cyprus. It is known for this beautiful beach called Finikoudes was less than a 10 minute walk from our apartment.

Our first weekend in Cyprus took us to another city called Nicosia in which we got to participate in A21’s first Walk for Freedom in the country in order to raise awareness for human trafficking!

The following week we had the opportunity to have a women’s retreat with all the ladies in our squad in the city of Limassol. We got to stay in a beautiful home and learn about an amazing ministry sharing the gospel with Muslim background believers in Yemen. This weekend was an incredible time of sisterhood and renewal. This is a picture of our eating table (there were about 30 of us at every meal.)

One of the fun things we like to try to do in every country is hike a mountain. During the women’s weekend we had the opportunity to go on a quick hike and enjoy the views of the island from the top of the hills in Limassol.

This is the Saint Lazarus church in Larnaka where Lazarus is thought to be buried. Lazarus is the guy in the bible that was dead for 4 days and Jesus resurrected.

These are the underground tombs beneath the St. Lazarus church where they think he was buried. They are not sure which tomb was his but they believe it was one of these.

And these are presumably Lazarus’ bones, kinda creepy and kinda cool.

These are the food bags that we helped put together and distribute every week.

Last but not least some of the wonderful leaders and volunteers we got to serve alongside. Everyone that we love and loved us so well is not pictured but this is a great representation.

Join me on the journey:

1. Please Pray — For our team as we have arrived in Lebanon and are working with a new ministry. Pray for security and safety in this country and against spiritual attacks from the enemy, specifically that we are able to get sleep and feel rested.

2. Consider Donating — My next deadline is at the end of the month and I have just over 20% left to raise! I only need  $4,247 to be FULLY FUNDED. Would you consider giving me an early Christmas gift in the form of a tax deductible donation? Please be in prayer and ask the Lord to provide for me financially.

3. Subscribe & Share — Get my blog updates sent to your inbox! Would you share my blog with friends and family that might be interested in following and supporting me on this journey.

Please message me any prayer requests and send me pictures of Thanksgiving later this week. I love you and miss you all dearly! 🙂 Enjoy the turkey, family, and friends!
