My life has been intentional and I am seeing that there is method to His madness.
Training camp has been overwhelming and massive, but wow, it has been beautiful. I have healed in ways I didn't even know I needed to heal and be cultivated. I guess the biggest thing for me has been the revival of a calling on my life, but the reival has been bigger than I knew it needed to be. I have had many an opportunity to look back over my life and see that the things I have gone through were allowed or placed there for a very specific reason and so God has been intentional in all that I have been through. This is not at all to say that I believe He caused bad things to happen in my life but that those bad things may fall into one of two categories: (1) They were a plan from the enemy to distract me from the loving Father God is (through which God brought about good); or (2) The things that I percieved as "bad" weren't really bad at all…which leads me to His madness.
His madness is mad because His ways are usually not what we humans would describe to be good or beneficial. For example, being unexpectedly laid off from a job doesn't sound like a gift or blessing at all. Our response is panic, fear or frustration. But in God's mad, methodical ways, being laid off could be just the thing one needs to rest, soak up His presence, and focus on support-raising for, say…an 11 month mission trip 😉 What I have been reminded is, His ways and His thoughts are higher than mine and because I can never fully understand His intentions and madness, my response must be "Yes. Okay. Amen."
This past week the Lord has used prophecy, visions, and yes, a prayer language (permission granted to take a moment to catch your breath) to tell me, "Hey I am drawing you out and bringing you home, into the fulness of who you are." My prayer for so long has been to go deeper with God and it is HAPPENING. Deep is crying out to deep and I am in love. I am also afraid because what God is calling me up into is bigger than I ever, ever, EVER imagined. He is calling me to authority, to truth, to greatness, to KINGDOM DREAMS. He has said, "You will be a refreshing spirit to the nations; a light in the darkness; and a word to the lost."
I encourage you to believe that He is calling YOU into the fulness of who you were made to be and drawing out a song that is inside of your soul. Hear it and give in to it!
