Here are some photos of the liquid that was extracted from my left lung. It's kind of gross, but I knew I needed to get a picture to show you all.
So here it is in all its glory – the liquid that took up residence in my lung. I'm not entirely sure how much is in the glass bottle, but I would guess it was about a liter's worth.
And here is a picture of me holding the nasty fluid with my doctor who performed the surgery. I was just happy to have the procedure over with, so that's why my smile is so big in this photo.
Well, there you have it! The picture of the liquid that was filling 1/4 of my lung. Crazy, right? Who knew your lungs were that large?!
