Just wanted to give a quick update…
I’M COMING HOME!
The plan is I’ll be back for the whole summer- from June-August. I’ll be nannying part time and catching up with friends and family. Originally I had made a 2 year commitment with AIM to serve in Thailand. That 2 years will be up at the end of August. However, our busiest time for training relief teams is in the fall. Summer in Thailand is rainy season, which prohibits us from doing much jungle work, so I have decided to come home for a bit and then return to finish up my commitment in the fall for at least 3 months. I don’t have an exact plan for the fall in regards to when I will return again to the US. I may stay longer than I originally expected. I will keep everyone in the loop though as I pray and make decisions as to what’s next. Thank you so much for all your love and support!
For my financial supporters: I will continue support raising through the summer and most likely stop in September, depending on whether not I extend my stay past November. The money I raise over the summer will go towards my work in the fall. Thank you so much for sticking with me and enabling me to do Kingdom work!
While I’m home I’d love to get together with friends and supporters to share about my experiences here. I’d also love to talk about my tentative plans for the fall. I have committed already to going back to the jungle for at least 4 weeks to help with another relief team training.
Please pray for my travel plans as there have recently been some changes and challenges with Thai politics. I’ll be flying out of Bangkok, where the political climate is the most unstable. Martial law has been enforced.
